on the Internet, getting to the information you really need can
be a time-consuming, frustrating process. McGraw-Hill is has developed
AccessScience to get you the research results you need, the first

Organization
of the site
A topical browse is a primary key to the online encyclopedia:
20 major topics have been assigned to which all articles belong
(similar to what we call the "Topical Index" in the print set).
New and licensed collections of material added to the encyclopedia
will be organized by these same 20 topics, with each topic having
its own specific home page. From these home pages, you can find
all the information you need to begin your research.
A powerful search
engine will propel you through the world of science and technology.
A quick search bar provides a fast, yet powerful, way to search
the entire site, or just look up a dictionary definition). Wherever
you are in AccessScience, this
quick search function is available to you, and can perform keyword,
Boolean, or wildcard searching. The advanced search options include
such features as: limiting your search to a specific type of entry
(encyclopedia, research update, biography, news), limiting
your search to specific topics, and more.
