The images used on the covers and spine are taken from a 9’x4-1/2’ oil painting by Obi-Tabot Tabe, PharmD (pictured), a painter, graphic designer, scientific illustrator, and pharmacist.

Dr. Tabe, originally from Cameroon, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy. The painting incorporates the artist’s impressions of concepts introduced in the pharmacy curriculum. The painting can be seen in the student lounge of Salk Hall at the university.
