Welcome to the NEW OMMBID Library Resource Center

Scriver’s OMMBID from McGraw-Hill  launched on a new, robust online platform on Nov. 29, 2007, and features fully searchable content from McGraw-Hill’s Online Metabolic & Molecular Bases of Inherited Disease (OMMBID). You will notice a new look to the home page, with improved organization and features so you can find what you are looking for and put it to use quickly.

Scriver’s OMMBID gives you access to important genetic topics, discussion groups, and a generous amount of dynamic content and media, including these key features:

• Updated monthly with new chapters on key topics and revised chapters that reflect the latest research
• New My OMMBID functionality that allows users to build their own image library, annotate and bookmark
• Monthly podcasts highlighting new content
• Full-text and advanced search capabilities to quickly identify the most relevant content on a chosen topic
• External linking to related sites, including OMIM, PubMed, and GeneReviews
• Individual or bundled PDF chapter sales available for non-subscribers

Our new librarian resource center highlights news and features, and will direct you to easy-to-access online user statistics reports. We have also created an easy to follow Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document and posted it to the right to help answer any immediate questions you may have about this migration.
